Dr. Roach makes it his goal to treat each patient like his own. He gives each patient plenty of love and attention. He is prepared to discuss preventative medicine so that every pet can stay as healthy as possible. He will also do everything that he can to make a sick pet feel better as soon as possible.

Susan – Practice Manager
Susan is originally from Texas, once removed to northern California and then finally settled down in Kansas City, Missouri to raise her family in 1990. Susan joined Claycomo Animal Hospital in 2009, having made a career change from the financial industry after 25 years of service. She found the perfect fit in the veterinary field, finding great satisfaction meeting and working with pet owners and their furry friends. Susan currently has one dog, a beloved Chihuahua named Lucy and a very rambunctious Quaker Parrot named Birdy. With all 3 kids grown, when not working, Susan enjoys treasure hunting, exercise and any activity related to the great outdoors, including hiking trails, gardening and cruising the town in her husbands 1920 Ford Bucket car.

Emily - Registered Veterinary Technician
Emily has been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 23 years. She joined Claycomo Animal Hospital in 2014 after moving with her family to Kansas City from the South. She enjoys running, hiking, travel and spending time with her family.

Anna - Registered Veterinary Technician
Anna has been a member of the team since 2011. She has been in the veterinary field for over 13 years. Anna graduated from Penn Foster College and graduated with a degree in veterinary technology. Her favorite part of being a veterinary technician is seeing and being a part of each life stage of her patients. She has a special interest in client education and being able to support each pet parent with their veterinary needs. When not working Anna is busy raising her three kids and two dogs, Gloria and Zuma. She loves camping, hiking and reading.
